Preventing The Sale Of Alcohol To Minors

We strictly prohibit the sale of alcohol to minors. To ensure compliance, we require age verification
during the purchasing process. If there is any doubt regarding age, we reserve the right to request valid
identification before completing a sale.

Ensuring Minors Can Not Purchase Alcohol

Online Safeguards:

1. Age Verification Upon Entry: Visitors to our website will be required to confirm their age through a
pop-up message:

2. Acknowledgment in Terms & Conditions: Before completing a transaction, customers must agree to:

• Age Restriction Clause: “You must be 18+ years old to legally purchase alcohol in New Zealand. By ordering from Sustainably Sauced Wine, you confirm you are of legal age. If buying as a gift, you confirm the recipient is 18+.”

3. Checkout Reminder: A message during checkout will reinforce:

• Age Restriction Notice: “All deliveries require an adult signature (18+) upon receipt. Please ensure someone of legal age is available to accept your order.”

Orders will be delivered through one of two methods:

1. Courier Delivery:

• Deliveries take place only during licensed hours.
• A recipient aged 18+ must provide a signature upon delivery.
• Packages will be labeled to indicate an adult signature is required.

2. Local Delivery by Our Team:

• Staff handling deliveries will hold a valid Duty Manager Certificate.
• Deliveries will be made only within permitted hours.
• An 18+ recipient must sign upon receiving the package.
